📦 Ingredients per Vial

  • Active Ingredient: Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A — 100 Units
  • Excipients: Human serum albumin — 0.5 mg, Sodium chloride — 0.9 mg

💉 Indications

  1. Temporary improvement of moderate-to-severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adults aged 20–65.
  2. Treatment of upper limb spasticity related to stroke in adults ≥18 years old.
  3. Treatment of benign essential blepharospasm in adults ≥18 years old.

📋 Dosage & Administration

1. Glabellar Lines

  • Dilute to 100U/2.5mL with preservative-free 0.9% NaCl (4U/0.1mL).
  • Use 30G needle to inject 0.1mL at each of 5 sites: 2 sites in corrugator, 1 site in procerus — total 20U.
  • Avoid injections near the levator palpebrae superioris muscle to minimize eyelid ptosis risk.
  • Results last approximately 3–4 months. Repeat injections at least several months apart.

2. Upper Limb Spasticity

  • Dose depends on muscle size, number, severity, and previous response.
  • Typical ranges: biceps 100–200U (up to 4 sites), flexor digitorum 15–50U (1–2 sites), flexor carpi 10–60U (1–2 sites).
  • Do not exceed 360U per session.

3. Blepharospasm

  • Dilute as above and inject with 27–30G needle without EMG guidance.
  • Recommended starting dose: 2.5U (0.1mL) per site into orbicularis oculi of upper and lower lids. Max total: 50U.
  • Effect lasts ~12 weeks. Safety & efficacy of more frequent dosing not established.

🧪 Dilution Guide

Use sterile, preservative-free 0.9% saline only. Add slowly into vial to avoid foaming. Use within 24 hours and store diluted solution at 2–8℃.

  • Verify muscle anatomy and avoid critical areas like levator palpebrae superioris.
  • Monitor for systemic botulinum toxin effects.
